Welcome to Silicon Compilation! The goal of this class is to understand how an algorithm can be compiled into a digital chip that implements the computation. The analogy here is with software compilers, where software can be translated into machine instructions by a conventional compiler.
All course materials will be made available online, although many lectures will use the blackboard. Please check the course calendar as the schedule of lab due dates, midterm, and quizzes for the semester will be posted soon.
